Made possible by:
The Gold Coast region in QLD, Australia has long been known for its iconic beaches, postcard perfect landscapes, exciting nightlife and its multitude of tourist attractions. Recently, however, there's been a distinct lack of BBQ events despite being home to a number of QLD and Australia's premier competition BBQ teams. We're looking to change that!
Featuring over 30 of Australia's best BBQ teams, the inaugural SmokeFest GC will be held over a full weekend on May 29-30th at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds on the Gold Coast, QLD. It will be run in conjunction with a number of other incredible events, with a single entry fee gaining access to all of the live entertainment, demos, classes, competitions and an amazing array of delicious food and drink.
We are proud to have the support of the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds team, the Gold Coast City Council and a host of incredible local businesses who have all helped to bring the event to life. The majority of our sponsors, vendors and participants live and work in and around SE QLD and we're genuinely honoured to have them on board.
